We work way too much!

Diversity.

6) Were you made fun of as a kid because your parents had accents?

Bonjour tout le monde!
1) Which country are you from?
My mother is Spanish, my father is French.

2) Are you a citizen of the US?
Yup, born here.

3) What do you love about your country?
Lots of history in both France and Spain, I'm also more attuned to their culture, than the American one, I prefer it. The French and Spanish culture is very carefree, loving, and easy, everyone is family.

4) What do you dislike about the US?
That's easy. I don't feel I belong, it's very uptight, people expect things of you; lots of people are rude (especially at my job). The government is horrible.

5) What if anything do you like about the US?
The diverse cultures and people I've met.

6) Were you made fun of as a kid because your parents had accents?
Oh yeah, and they still do, which is unfortunate. Especially my father's accent--he hardly speaks a word of English, but he tries. I love their accents. <3 It's who they are, and it gives them character.

7) Which European country (besides your own) are you most interested in visiting?
Scotland, Iceland.

8) How did you find out about this community?
I searched 'Gypsies' and this came up.

9) Say something in your language and translate it! (If you speak it, that is!)
Espero acer amigos te todos (I hope to make friends of you all)
Je non suis bon parlant francais (I'm not good with French O_O)

3) What do you love about your country?
The sense of family, loyalty, and solidarity (solidarnoscz!)

The US does (to an extent) have freedoms many other countries lack.

6) Were you made fun of as a kid because your parents had accents?
They tried, but I was to proud of my accent and it sucked all the fun out of teasing me. ;)

7) Which European country (besides your own) are you most interested in visiting?
Ireland, England

8)How did you find out about this community?
Interest Search

9) Say something in your language and translate it! (If you speak it, that is!)

Szia!
1) Which country are you from?
America. My dad is from Hungary and my mom is from Mexico.

2) Are you a citizen of the US?
Yes, indeedy

3) What do you love about your country?
Hungary:the language, the scenery, the memories *sigh*.. lol
mexico: unfortunatley the only time I went to mexico was when I was little (like 8 if not younger) so I can't really say much about it. :(

4) What do you dislike about the US?
I'm gonna have to agree with yesh_indeedy on the way we have to be politically correct on everything. And it kind of bugs me how on the news you always hear about is how obese americans are. -_-; (cut back on those all you can eat buffets, people! lol)

5) What if anything do you like about the US?
The diversity, options!, and hmm *ponder* TV!

6) Were you made fun of as a kid because your parents had accents?
Nope, not at all. My dad's accent isnt that thick so I dont think anyone noticed. With my mom my friends would just tell me they didnt understand her. And when my grandma talked they thought it was cute.

7) Which European country (besides your own) are you most interested in visiting?
France, England, Greece, italy, czech republic (prague)...EVERYWHERE!!

8) How did you find out about this community?
I was bored so I started looking up interests.

9) Say something in your language and translate it!
I can't spell in hungarian very well, I can spell szeretlek! (I love you! lol)

Newbie, uwahhh!
1) Which country are you from? America. My Dad's side is from Poland &My Mom's is from Denmark. But, you see, most of the culture is from my Dad's side because when my Mom's family came over, they pretty much Americanized, whereas my Dad's family still cooked the traditional meals and spoke the language and whatnot.
2) Are you a citizen of the US? Yessh
3) What do you love about your country? I just love the Polish language, the way it sounds. ^ ^
It's also a beautiful country (from what I've seen in pictures, &from what people have told me) with a lot of history.
4) What do you dislike about the US? The government, the ignorance, the way we have to be politically correct on everything, the junk food.
Oh, and the way that most don't really know much about other cultures.
Example: while learning about World War 2 in us history class, when the teacher started talking about Germany, a girl sitting near me raised her hand and said, "What language do they speak in Germany?"
Me: "...*slams head on desk*"
5) What if anything do you like about the US? The Jersey shore! ^ ^
6)Were you made fun of as a kid because your parents had accents? No my Dad doesn't have an accent, besides a Philadelphian one XD My Grandma has a bit of one, though, but I've never been teased because of it.
7) Which European country (besides your own) are you most interested in visiting? Well, France because I'm learning some in school. Also Switzerland. Or possibly Sweden.
8)How did you find out about this community? I looked up 'Poland' in the interest whatsit.
9) Say something in your language and translate it! (If you speak it, that is!)
Okay...This might be wrong, because I don't actually really know how to write &spell polish words that well, I just speak. So, correct me if I'm wrong, Prosze.
Jestem Kasia! Meaning, I'm Kasia! ^ ^

Hi ppl
1) Which country are you from?
Russia, obviously. Spent most of my early childhood in Moscow

2) Are you a citizen of the US?
Yes I am

3) What do you love about your country?
The language, the people, THE FOOD, the rich culture, the music, and everything else except for the present government.

4) What do you dislike about the US?
The dull, stupid, ignorant, geocentric, and blindly patriotic people, and the government

5) What if anything do you like about the US?
The way everything is much more organized than in Russia, the many cultures, some of the music, and the Chineese food (because the chinese food that they have here is nothing like the food chinese people actually eat, but a totally unique culinary experience)

6)Were you made fun of as a kid because your parents had accents?
I never really had an accent, and I learned English very quickly, so by the time I was in second grade you couldn't tell that I was Russian.

7) Which European country (besides your own) are you most interested in visiting?
Germany (again), Switzerland, England, Italy, and France.

8)How did you find out about this community?
Typed in "Russia" in the interest search.

1) Which country are you from?
POLSKA!!! (Poland)

2) Are you a citizen of the US?
yeah

3) What do you love about your country?
Oh god, I love seriously EVERYTHING. Good and bad. It all just mixes well, and thats my love for Poland. The people are great. Late night vodka drinking and listening to your drunk uncle's speeches on something random like politics. Walk outside and go into the great old town of Warsaw and sit in the cafe with your friends and drink tea. And talk and talk and talk. The history is great, from being the powerful country in Europe to being taken over three countries to being the country who started the trend of bringing down commuimism. EVERYTHING!

4) What do you dislike about the US?
Let me just say, this country sucks. I dislike everything from the people to goverment (which in suppose to be made by the people....uh...what?). I hate giving a presention to my class about Europe and then some ingortant bitch asks "Are their clothes stores in Europe?". Its not her fault she thinks that way, the american media brain washed her and the rest of the american population into thinking that '....ONLY IN AMERICA'.

5) What if anything do you like about the US?
Its all fake bullshit. There is nothing here to like.

6)Were you made fun of as a kid because your parents had accents?
Many times. Not as much in High school as in the the lower grades, but yes.

7) Which European country (besides your own) are you most interested in visiting?
Belgium, Swedan, Finland, Czech Republic, Swizterland, Spain, Russia, Austria and POLAND AGAIN!

8)How did you find out about this community?

1) Which country are you from?
Sweden. I was born there and I'm a citizen.

2) Are you a citizen of the US?
Yes.

3) What do you love about your country?
The rich history, the language, the people are wonderful, their social attitudes and the way government is run... ah!

4) What do you dislike about the US?
Rampant ignorance, hicks, stupid rich people that travel but don't know how to act in another country... etc

5) What if anything do you like about the US?
I met the love of my life here, but I intend on moving back to Sweden.

6)Were you made fun of as a kid because your parents had accents?
Yes.

7) Which European country (besides your own) are you most interested in visiting?
All! Especially Russia and Eastern Europe... I have been through most of W Europe by virtue of the fact that my entire family lives in Sweden.

8)How did you find out about this community?

1) Which country are you from?
Though I wasn't born there, I am Hungarian by heart, blood, soul and legally (I have citizenship).

2) Are you a citizen of the US?
Yes.

3) What do you love about your country?
The rich history, the language, the people, the cities, the food...EVERYTHING!

4) What do you dislike about the US?
People here are so ignorant about the rest of the world. If they'd stop going on 23984398 cruises to the Carribean, then maybe they'd see what the real rest of the world is like!

5) What if anything do you like about the US?
Opportunities it has given my parents and many other people I know. Not only financially, but through education and getting an easier start than they could have gotten anywhere else.

6)Were you made fun of as a kid because your parents had accents?
No. However after spending a year in Hungary I came home with a little accent which my friends made fun of. Of course I lost it after a month or so.

7) Which European country (besides your own) are you most interested in visiting?
Greece.

8)How did you find out about this community?
